Asset Finance

Asset Finance can be used to raise money to buy equipment for your business, including machinery, or other assets but it can also be used to release capital, from assets which are already owned by the business.

We can help with Asset Finance for all sizes of businesses, from Sole Traders to large Limited Companies.

We offer the following types of Asset Finance solutions;

Hire Purchase

Hire Purchase is typically used when you want to own the asset you are purchasing, outright at the end of the term. Fixed or variable rates are available, depending on your preference, and the finance term can be structured to suit your individual cash flow requirements. Terms are normally between 12-60 months, although longer terms are available. Some lenders also offer the option of a residual / balloon payment at the end of the term to help keep monthly payments to a minimum.

Finance Lease

A Finance Lease differs from Hire Purchase as the ownership never passes to the customer / hirer named in the finance agreement. The finance company retains ownership of the asset, which is then rented to you over the chosen term. At the end of the agreed term, you would typically be given the option to retain the use of the asset by agreeing a Secondary Lease Period, which would normally be cheaper than the Primary Lease period, sell the goods to a third party, on behalf of the finance company, or return the asset to the finance company.

Operating Lease

An Operating Lease arrangement allows the usage of a vehicle or equipment without some of the risks of ownership, such as depreciation. The funder will take all the risk of the future value of the asset, enabling you to use the asset throughout the term of your agreement with the added benefit of a built-in residual value, reducing your monthly rental.

Refinance of existing assets

If you need to raise cash for any reason, for example business expansion or to repay an existing loan, we can help through the refinance of your existing assets.

This could free up capital quickly offering you a way to generate cash quickly and efficiently. We can help you to identify a suitable asset and offer advice on the most appropriate deals across a variety of lenders.

Some examples where we can help;

  • Purchase of machinery, plant, office equipment, IT, EPOS, telecoms, catering equipment, yellow plant, vehicles etc.
  • Infrastructure investment.
  • Refinance of assets already owned.
